Yoga taught with precision and a sense of humor
To me, Yoga is
Balance, grounding, resilience, compassion
The moment when we find steadiness and ease
The ability to observe, perceive and listen into the silent spaces
The freedom to laugh at our efforts
I live in San Francisco and teach alignment-based Vinyasa style yoga. I love teaching to students of all levels and I aim to create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone feels comfortable and supported on their yoga journey. I design my classes in a way that builds on foundational poses and safely prepares the body and mind to play and experiment.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
- Viktor Frankl
“I'm not really a yoga person but I've done three of Sarah's classes now and these are really great. I love that they are flowing and challenging without being discouraging. It feels like she captures the best parts of yoga for me (feeling grounded in my body) without too much of the ‘extra’ yoga stuff (that always makes yoga classes drag for me).”

“I love Sarah's classes! She brings customization and challenge along with humor and good cheer. In addition to a very helpful, technical approach to the physical aspects of yoga, she also has great knowledge and an excellent approach to the yin and yang (sorry to mix cultural references) philosophy of yoga.”
