4-Week In-Person Beginner Series

Are you curious about yoga but don’t know how or where to start? Or are you new to yoga and looking to learn the building blocks of and the foundations of the poses and the practice?

Please join me for a 4-Week Beginner Yoga Series where we will learn -

  • What makes yoga different from typical "exercise" and how yoga can help to foster increased body awareness and self compassion

  • Breathing Techniques - learn simple and effective ways to connect to your breath and your body

  • Common Poses and Healthy Alignment - examine foundational poses with an emphasis on alignment and modifications to build strength and confidence

  • Families of Poses - become familiar with the similarities between poses so you can apply this knowledge to your future practice

  • Piece It All Together - learn to "flow" through gradual repetition where each class builds on what you've already learned

This is a 4-Week Workshop Series designed for the total beginner and those seeking to go back to the basics.  

No prior yoga experience necessary and don't worry if you think you're not strong enough or not flexible enough. Tight hamstrings? Step right up! Can't do a push up? No problem. Everybody can do yoga. These classes are designed for you to learn, have fun, ask questions and build a welcoming community with other new students like you.

Location and Price - This workshop will be held at Mission Cliffs Climbing Gym in San Francisco. The price will vary, depending on whether you’re a member of the gym.

$60 for members / $180 for non-members
